Artist Development - Group 'Work in Progress' sessions
Every two months we host 'Work in Progress', an informal and friendly group discussion evening for artists of all disciplines and all levels. If you are interested in sharing a work in progress and hearing some supportive feedback about your work then please click here to view upcoming events and book your place. If you don’t want to present your work, you are welcome to come along and be part of the conversation.
This event is normally fully booked, if you can no longer join us please let us know so we can make your space available to our wait list.
We have been running this event free of charge for three years and we maintain that the spirit of Work in Progress is that anyone who would like to attend is welcome to, no matter your financial circumstances. We have introduced a 'pay what you can' feature for those who would like to and are able to contribute to help us to run this event. Payment is optional at your discretion and will remain confidential.
One-to-One Creative Practice Mentoring
To complement our group sessions, we also offer one-to-one sessions with the Knot Works team. These are available in person in the Knot Works studio or online via video call.

These sessions are designed to give artists an opportunity for one-to-one tailored feedback and guidance. These sessions may be particularly useful for artists who are approaching a new project or who would prefer individual, dedicated time to discuss their work or practice in more detail.

Sessions are bookable per hour, charged at £50 per hour.
Session times are flexible to be agreed on booking.

Artist Studios
We have have studio spaces available for artists and creative businesses through a membership scheme. The studios range from 7-14 m2 and are affordably priced. They are located in Southborough, just off the high street, a short walk from our High Street premises.
