Summer Workshop: Wall-hanging from Textiles Waste

In this workshop you will be guided through a series of experiments in waste textiles. These experiments will include collage, weaving, stitching, gathering and quilting. You will then explore combining them to make a wall hanging.

All materials provided. Feel free to bring any fabric or cloth you would like to cut up and re-use.

Skill level

Suitable for all. Over 16s only.

Travel

High Brooms railway station is approx. 15 minutes walk from the studio and provides direct train links to London and the South East. There is a metered car park (Yew Tree road) located 5 minutes walk from the studio, and some on street parking is available. London Road has regular bus services from Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and surrounding areas. 

Accessibility

The studio is on the ground floor, with one step at the threshold. Please get in touch if you have any questions about access and we will be happy to chat about it in more detail and do what we can to accommodate you.
