Summer Workshop: Technical Drawing Basics

In this workshop you will learn the basics of technical drawing. You will be shown how to draw simple objects in ‘plan’, ‘section’ and ‘elevation’. You will learn how to draw objects 'orthographically' to scale with pencil and ink. This skill is the foundation of architectural and product design.

This workshop will be taught by Holly Jean Crosbie who is a chartered architect and Associate Lecturer in Architecture at London Metropolitan University. 

All materials provided.

Suitable for all. Over 16s only.

Travel

High Brooms railway station is approx. 15 minutes walk from the studio and provides direct train links to London and the South East. There is a metered car park (Yew Tree road) located 5 minutes walk from the studio, and some on street parking is available. London Road has regular bus services from Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and surrounding areas. 

Accessibility

The studio is on the ground floor, with one step at the threshold. Please get in touch if you have any questions about access and we will be happy to chat about it in more detail and do what we can to accommodate you.
