About the Event

In this workshop you will be introduced to lino-printing. You will learn how to carve a printing block in lino and use it in a number of ways to print repeat patterns. This block can then be used to make greetings cards and wrapping paper. We will have source material for inspiration, please feel free to bring any interesting patterns or images you would like to work from.


All materials provided. We will be using printing ink so wear old clothes or bring an apron.


Skill level

Suitable for all. Over 16s only. Please note, lino cutting uses sharp blades. The tutor will show you how to use these safely.


Travel

High Brooms railway station is approx. 15 minutes walk from the studio and provides direct train links to London and the South East. There is a metered car park (Yew Tree road) located 5 minutes walk from the studio, and some on street parking is available. London Road has regular bus services from Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and surrounding areas. 


Accessibility

The studio is on the ground floor, with one step at the threshold. Please get in touch if you have any questions about access and we will be happy to chat about it in more detail and do what we can to accommodate you.
