What You Will Learn

In this workshop you will learn about the process of creating your own lino prints, from choosing and tracing a design, to preparing, carving and inking your lino plates.

The theme of the workshop is pattern, shape and colour. On the day Emily will provide some shapes and designs for you to choose from as well as guide you on selecting and creating your own designs.

Having been introduced to the process of making your lino plates, Emily will show you how to experiment with printing them to create original designs using different coloured inks and compositions.

At the end of the workshop you will take home the lino plates that you have carved and the artworks that you have printed.
