Pottery Studio Sessions ( Mon eve, 5-weeks)

Untutored studio time. Ideal for those with some pottery skills and who need access to a pottery studio without tuition. Tools are provided. Come along and spend time making your own hand built pottery in a social and friendly atmosphere.

Cost of clay, glazes and firing charged separately and calculated by weight.

A workbench for hand building

Key tools and implements (feel free to bring your own)

Firing by our resident Potter (charged separatly and calculated by weight)

Materials provided, and charged separatley by weight:

White stoneware clay 

A selection of glazes

(note, only clay and glazes provided by us can be used to ensure consistent firing and efficient recycling/waste, if there is a specific clay or glaze you would like to use we will happily discuss options for sourcing it for you)

What to bring:

Apron if you would like to wear one

Skill Level

Not suitable for absolute beginners as this is not a tutored session. If you are new to pottery, book one of our masterclass pottery classes taught by potter Jean Crosbie.

Travel

High Brooms railway station is approx. 15 minutes walk from the studio and provides direct train links to London and the South East. There is a metered car park (Yew Tree Road) located 5 minutes walk from the studio, and on street parking is available.

Accessibility

The studio is on the ground floor. There is one step internally to access a WC or there is flush access to an external WC to the rear. Please get in touch if you have any questions about access and we will be happy to chat about it in more detail and do what we can to accommodate you.

Cancellations & Covid Policy

Bookings for our workshops and studio sessions are non-refundable. Please check the dates and details above carefully before you confirm your booking.

If government restrictions dictate that we need to cancel the workshop for any reason due to Covid-19 will refund the total cost of the workshop. When we are able to reschedule, we will offer first refusal to those who previously signed up.
